TP Tutors, part of Teaching Personnel, is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic tutors to provide high-quality 1:1 tuition to pupils across the Peterborough area. Tuition sessions take place in pupils' homes or school settings during school hours. This rewarding role involves supporting children and young people who may be out of mainstream education, have additional learning needs, or require personalised academic support to help them re-engage with learning and reach their full potential.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to each pupil's individual learning needs.
- Plan and adapt engaging lessons that support academic progress and build confidence.
- Assess learning needs and monitor pupil progress.
- Complete session reports and provide regular feedback on pupil development.
- Build positive, professional relationships with pupils, families, schools, and local authorities.
- Encourage pupils to develop confidence, resilience, and a positive attitude towards learning.
We Are Looking For
- A minimum of two years' UK teaching experience is essential.
- Experience delivering the UK National Curriculum in a school or tutoring environment.
- Qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or education professionals with a proven track record of supporting pupils.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, organised, and committed individuals who can work independently.
