Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday, term time
Are you a passionate PE Teacher looking for a rewarding role in a primary school? We are working with a primary school in Central Bristol who are looking for an enthusiastic PE Teacher to deliver engaging sport and physical education across a range of year groups.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to help children build confidence, teamwork and a love of physical activity.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive PE lessons across a range of year groups
- Adapting activities to suit different ages, abilities and needs
- Encouraging participation, teamwork and good sportsmanship
- Managing behaviour to keep sessions safe and positive
- Running sports clubs and supporting school sports events where appropriate
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress in PE
- Following the school's routines, procedures and safeguarding policies
We Are Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with PE experience or a sports coaching background
- Experience delivering PE to children in a school setting
- Confidence working across different age groups
- An energetic, enthusiastic and engaging approach
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to motivate and encourage children of all abilities
- Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to safeguarding
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
