Develop and implement a well-rounded curriculum that encompasses a variety of sports and physical activities, tailored to the specific needs and abilities of KS3 and KS4 students.

Promote teamwork, leadership skills, and good sportsmanship through interactive and inclusive lessons.

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate their development.

Prepare students for examinations, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities, such as inter-school competitions and athletic events, providing opportunities for students to showcase their abilities and develop teamwork.

Collaborate with fellow educators and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching strategies and keep up-to-date with the latest trends in physical education.

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

Proven experience teaching Physical Education to KS3 and KS4 students.

Strong knowledge of different sports, fitness techniques, and health-related topics relevant to KS3 and KS4 curriculum.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and build positive relationships.

Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment that supports the physical and emotional well-being of students.
