Teaching Personnel are currently seeking motivated and experienced Maths & English Tutors to provide tailored support to students within the NG13 area. This role involves delivering engaging 1:1 tuition sessions to pupils who may require additional academic support, including students with SEN, SEMH needs, or those currently outside of mainstream education.

The Role:

  • Deliver in-person Maths and English tuition on a 1:1 basis.
  • Work Monday to Friday during school hours.
  • Plan and adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Support pupils in building confidence, engagement, and academic progress.
  • Create positive and supportive learning environments.

Requirements:

  • Experience tutoring or teaching Maths and English.
  • Experience working with children or young people preferred.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Patient, adaptable, and engaging approach to learning.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Ability to travel within the NG13 area.
