General Cover Teacher - Full-Time (Temporary) Northumberland Schools
Pay: £140 - £180 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date - January 2027
Teaching Personnel is looking for a confident and enthusiastic General Cover Teacher to join our team for day to day work. This is a great opportunity for adaptable teachers who enjoy variety and wanting to take a step back from a full teaching role.
The Role:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
- Keep classrooms calm, focused, and engaging
- Follow school behaviour policies and routines
- Support pupils' learning while covering staff absences
- Provide feedback to schools where required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
- Confident with classroom and behaviour management
- Flexible, reliable, and quick to adapt to new settings
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Recent experience working in UK schools
