Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to support secondary schools across Newcastle. The Role
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to students who need additional guidance
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting students with academic progress, confidence, and engagement
- Working closely with teaching staff to adapt learning strategies for individual student needs
- Applying and developing your subject knowledge within the classroom

- A relevant degree and strong subject knowledge

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- High expectations for behaviour, engagement, and learning
- Previous experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
