Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting several Teaching Assistants to support a range of welcoming primary and secondary schools across the BS32 area. These positions are ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with young people and making a positive difference in education.
Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant or have transferable experience working with children and young people, we would love to hear from you.
- Sports coaching
- Psychology or Criminology graduates
- Youth work
- Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL)
- Holiday camp leadership
- After-school clubs and activity programmes
- Mentoring or tutoring
- Any other relecant role involving regular work with children or young people
- Be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
- Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
- Be nurturing, patient, and empathetic.
- Be proactive and willing to get involved in all aspects of school life.
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Providing classroom support to teachers and pupils.
- Working with students on a one-to-one or small-group basis.
- Supporting pupils with their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Encouraging engagement, confidence, and positive behaviour.
- Helping to create a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment.
- Competitive daily pay of £92 - £105 per day.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
