Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated Secondary Tutor to support students in the DE4 Matlock area. This is a rewarding opportunity to work on a 1:1 basis with learners who require additional academic support to help them achieve their full potential.

- In-person tuition (home, school, or community settings)
- Flexible daytime hours (Monday to Friday, school hours)
Responsibilities
- Deliver tailored 1:1 tuition sessions at secondary level
- Support students in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science
- Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities
- Build confidence, engagement, and academic progress
- Support learners who may have SEN/SEMH needs or be out of mainstream education
Qualifications
- Experience tutoring or teaching secondary-aged students
- Strong subject knowledge in core curriculum areas
- Experience supporting SEN learners (desirable)
- Patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
