Make a Difference in Maths Education – Flexible 1:1 Tutoring Role

Are you confident teaching Maths and passionate about helping learners succeed? We’re looking for experienced Maths tutors to support pupils on a 1:1 basis across KS1 to KS4, starting September 2025.

As a tutor with TP Tutors, you’ll work with pupils who need targeted support, whether to build confidence, prepare for exams, or catch up on missed learning. Sessions are held face-to-face in homes or local community spaces, allowing for tailored, effective support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality 1:1 Maths tuition tailored to each pupil’s needs
  • Support learners with a variety of goals including SATs and GCSE preparation
  • Track progress and adapt teaching strategies to close knowledge gaps

We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in an educational setting
  • Confident teachingMathsatKS1–KS4
  • Ability to tailor sessions to individual needs and learning styles
  • Strong communication, organisation and behaviour management skills
  • Passion for helping pupils grow in confidence and ability

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can assist)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
