A primary school in Longridge is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis from November 2026.
This role would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working with children in Years 3-6 and is confident supporting learning across a range of curriculum areas.
- Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons.
- Working with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
- Providing targeted support in core subjects, including Maths, English and Science.
- Encouraging pupils to develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.
- Assisting with classroom organisation, resources and daily routines.
- Helping to maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Has previous experience supporting children within a classroom setting.
- Demonstrates a good understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- Is proactive, reliable and adaptable.
- Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
- Full-time hours with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule.
- Competitive pay at £14.25 per hour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
