Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with Key Stage 5 available for suitable candidates.
- Inspire students through a broad range of artistic techniques, mediums, and creative projects.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Create an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes creativity and achievement.
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.
- Support students in developing their artistic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Art within a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
