We are seeking a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our welcoming school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented environment where pupils and staff can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Opening and securing the school site each day.
- Carrying out routine maintenance, repairs, and general handyman duties.
- Ensuring the school premises and grounds are safe, clean, and well-maintained.
- Conducting regular health and safety checks and reporting any issues.
- Managing site security, including alarms, gates, and access control.
- Supervising contractors and supporting site improvement projects.
- Assisting with room setups for school events, meetings, and activities.
- Supporting with deliveries and stock management where required.
- Responding efficiently to maintenance requests from staff.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience in a maintenance, caretaking, facilities, or site supervision role.
- Possess good DIY and practical maintenance skills.
- Have a strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Be organised, dependable, and able to work independently.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
