We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a Nursery-aged pupil undergoing assessments to identify specific needs. This role requires an enthusiastic individual who can build strong relationships and deliver tailored support, including personal care and speech & language development., * Provide one-to-one support to the pupil, ensuring their individual needs are met within the Nursery environment.

Assist with personal care needs, ensuring the pupil’s dignity and comfort at all times.

Support the pupil’s speech and language development through targeted interventions, as directed by external professionals.

Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement strategies and adapt resources.

Contribute to the pupil’s ongoing assessment by observing and recording progress.

Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment to encourage the pupil’s social and emotional development.
We are looking for someone who:

Holds a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.

Has experience working with early years children, particularly those with additional needs.

Is patient, understanding, and passionate about supporting children to reach their full potential.

Has knowledge or experience of working on speech and language interventions (desirable but not essential).

Demonstrates excellent communication skills to liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals.

Understands the importance of safeguarding and can maintain confidentiality at all times.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
