TP Tutors is looking for a dedicated Secondary SEN Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 tuition to Secondary-aged learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across LA1 1HY, Lancashire. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students build confidence, improve attainment, and reach their full potential.

The Role

  • Deliver engaging 1:1 tuition sessions.
  • Plan and deliver lessons tailored to each child's individual learning needs and abilities.
  • Support students in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Monitor progress and provide regular feedback to support learner development.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year's teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
  • Experience supporting Secondary-aged pupils with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum.
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Right to work in the UK.
