Are you an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant looking for a role that offers both immediate work and the opportunity to secure a permanent position within a supportive school?
Teaching Personnel are working exclusively with a friendly and welcoming primary school in Poulton-le-Fylde who are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week, starting after October half term.
This role will begin on a temporary basis, with the school ideally looking for someone who is seeking a long-term opportunity and is interested in progressing onto a permanent school contract.
The Role
- Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 5 classroom
- Working closely with the class teacher to help pupils achieve their full potential
- Providing small group and individual support where required
- Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
- Helping to create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Has previous experience working within a primary school setting (essential)
- Confident supporting pupils in Key Stage 2
- Builds strong relationships with children, staff and parents
- Is reliable, proactive and passionate about education
- Is seeking a long-term role with the potential for permanent employment

Requirements
Previous experience working in a primary school is essential
Right to work in the UK
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
