A vibrant primary school in Kirkham is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide support across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who enjoys the variety of working with pupils of different ages and abilities, supporting teaching and learning throughout the school day.
As a General Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers to help create engaging learning experiences and ensure pupils remain motivated, included, and supported in reaching their potential.
- Supporting pupils during whole-class lessons, group activities and independent work.
- Assisting with literacy, numeracy and other curriculum-based activities.
- Working with small groups of children who require additional support.
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting a positive learning environment.
- Preparing classroom resources and assisting with daily classroom routines.
- Supporting pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
- Have previous experience supporting children within a classroom environment.
- Are confident working with pupils across KS1 and KS2.
- Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Can use initiative and adapt to the needs of different classes and learners.
- Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (advantageous but not essential).
- A welcoming and supportive staff team.
- Full-time hours with a consistent schedule.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
