- GCSE Tutor to provide high-quality, one-to-one tuition to students in the
DE7 Ilkeston area .
The successful candidate will support learners in achieving their academic goals by delivering engaging and tailored lessons that build confidence and attainment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised GCSE tuition on a 1:1 basis.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to each student's needs and ability level.
- Support students in improving subject knowledge, study skills, and exam preparation techniques.
- Monitor progress and provide regular feedback.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience in the UK.
- Experience teaching GCSE-level students.
- Strong knowledge of the relevant GCSE curriculum.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate learners.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or relevant degree.
