Are you a passionate and motivated Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to begin your teaching journey in a supportive and rewarding environment? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated ECTs to work on a full-time basis across a range of welcoming primary schools throughout Huddersfield.

- Full-time, consistent work opportunities
- Working hours of 8:15am - 3:30pm
- Opportunities across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Choice of preferred year groups where possible
- Experience across a variety of local primary schools
- Ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant
- Enhanced DBS support where required
- Valuable experience to support your ECT journey and career progression
As an Early Career Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire young learners
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
- Implement the National Curriculum effectively
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all pupils
- Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
- Establish positive behaviour expectations and classroom routines
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote pupil achievement and wellbeing
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Hold or be working towards Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Be an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or recently qualified teacher
- Have a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
- Be committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
A First Aid qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
