Are you passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and helping them reach their full potential? A vibrant and welcoming primary school in Garstang is looking for a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team for afternoon sessions only.

In this role, you will support classroom learning in the afternoons, assisting with lesson delivery and providing tailored support for students. You will work closely with teaching staff to implement plans for students with additional needs, lead small group activities, and offer one-to-one support as required. Additionally, you will contribute to the monitoring and assessment of students’ progress and assist in maintaining a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.

To be considered for this role, you must hold an HLTA qualification or equivalent and have experience working with children in a school environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and use your initiative. A passion for helping children succeed academically and socially is key.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
