TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and adaptable Functional Skills Tutors in Stretford (M32) to deliver high-quality tuition in Maths, English, and ICT.
You’ll work with learners who may be out of mainstream education, need to catch up on missed learning, or are preparing for Functional Skills qualifications. Your sessions will be focused on developing confidence and competence through practical, real-world applications — helping each learner achieve meaningful progress.
Teaching takes place face‑to‑face, either at the learner’s home or a local community venue. You’ll plan structured, engaging lessons tailored to each individual’s needs and goals, while providing encouragement and feedback every step of the way.
We’re seeking tutors who:
- Have experience teaching or tutoring Functional Skills (Maths, English, and/or ICT)
- Can adapt lessons to suit a wide range of learners and abilities
- Possess a calm, supportive approach to learning
- Hold an Enhanced DBS (or are willing to apply)
