Not all students succeed in traditional classroom environments. With the right support, encouragement, and approach, every learner has the potential to achieve. TP Tutors is recruiting Alternative Provision Tutors in Fleet to work with students requiring tailored one-to-one educational support.

Position: Alternative Provision Tutor

Location: Fleet and nearby areas

Working Hours: Flexible opportunities available

Key Duties

  • Deliver customised one-to-one tutoring sessions
  • Support students with SEN including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and EBSA
  • Adapt lesson content to meet individual student needs
  • Build trusted and positive relationships with learners
  • Deliver sessions in community venues or students’ homes
  • Encourage independence, motivation, and engagement

Requirements

  • Experience working with children or young people preferred
  • Background in tutoring, teaching, youth work, or support roles beneficial
  • Calm, resilient, and adaptable attitude
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Willingness to travel across Fleet and surrounding areas
