About this role: For KS3 through KS5, this school is seeking a full-time SEN science teacher. For the students to reach their greatest potential in the topic of science, you are expected to deliver inspiring and motivating lessons. It is required of candidates to organise and facilitate a stimulating and motivating learning environment for the students. You will work with a welcoming, close-knit science department that values collaboration and co-plans assignments to guarantee best practices and uniformity in all classrooms.

A successful candidate for this position will have a QTS or PGCE with experience in teaching science and working in an SEN School. Candidates should also be confident in their ability to teach the material and be able to plan multiple lessons ahead of time for various year groups. They must also ensure that ICT, Literacy, Numeracy and school subject specialism(s) are reflected in the teaching/learning experience of students Finally, candidates should be familiar with the current curriculum and understand what kind of support the students will need before class to ensure that they meet their goals for the term.
