Teaching Personnel are seeking an Administrative Assistant to work in the office of a primary SEN provision in the Disbury area. The school are seeking an individual with SIMS and school-based administrative experience to start as soon as possible in this full-time, long-term role, supporting the administrative needs of the school as directed by senior staff.

You will be paid a daily rate reflective of your experience, weekly on PAYE timesheets. We do not use an umbrella company or agency fees, bypassing unnecessary deductions.

The incoming Administrator will be expected to perform various administrative tasks in a school office setting. This will involve managing reception duties, including welcoming visitors and answering phone calls. You will also assist with data entry, filing, and maintaining school records using bespoke software. You will be expected to handle correspondence and communicate effectively with staff, parents, and external stakeholders.

Candidates must register with Teaching Personnel, the school’s preferred recruitment agency. You will be expected to have an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service is required or be willing to apply for one as part of the application process., Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
