SEN Teaching Assistants Required

Location: BN21 - Eastbourne

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of an Ofsted-rated 'Good' Primary School, and we are currently seeking enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants to join their supportive and welcoming team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people by supporting their learning, development, and wellbeing in a school environment that values inclusion and care.

The Role

  • Support pupils with SEN to access learning and the wider curriculum
  • Help with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Promote independence, confidence, and self-esteem
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver support plans
  • Provide consistent support throughout the day, including breaks and enrichment activities

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working with children with additional needs, or a relevant qualification (desirable)
  • A calm, patient, and encouraging approach
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
