As a Drama Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding drama education to students aged 11 to 16. Your expertise and enthusiasm will inspire a love for the performing arts, allowing students to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop essential life skills. You will deliver engaging and stimulating lessons, incorporating a variety of teaching methodologies, practical activities, and performance opportunities., * Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality drama lessons in line with the national curriculum.

Encourage students to develop their acting skills, express themselves confidently, and explore their artistic potential.

Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes teamwork, mutual respect, and a passion for drama.

Support students in their preparation for performances, auditions, and exams, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with relevant experience teaching Drama at secondary level.

A passion for drama education and a strong understanding of the national curriculum.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and motivate students.

Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Experience in directing and organising school productions would be advantageous.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
