Teaching Personnel is seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable Maths Cover Teacher to join a welcoming middle school in Dorchester. This rewarding role involves primarily delivering Maths lessons across Years 5 to 8, with occasional Science cover when required.

The Role
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons across Years 5 to 8
- Provide occasional Science cover as required by the school
- Follow lesson plans and ensure pupils remain focused and engaged
- Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
- Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their potential
- Work closely with teaching staff and school leaders to promote excellent learning outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Strong Maths teaching experience, ideally within KS2 and lower KS3
- Confident teaching pupils from Year 5 through to Year 8
- Ability to deliver lessons across multiple year groups
- Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
