Are you a qualified DT Teacher? Can you confidently teach food technology?
We are in collaboration with a mainstream secondary school in the heart of Coventry, based in CV2 to appoint a qualified and experienced DT teacher.
You will be experienced and well-rounded and will have developed expertise from previous roles, that you can use to help you succeed within this role.
The school are seeking a DT teacher who can specialise in food technology ideally and can deliver a range of engaging lessons with pupil safety and wellbeing at the heart of everything.
Ideal Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching DT and has a broad understanding of the DT specialisms
- Specialises in food technology
- Confident behaviour management skills & strong classroom presence
- Excellent subject and curriculum based knowledge
- Can commit to a full time position
- Enhanced, child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

- Hours – full time, term-time only
- Rate of pay – to scale (MPS/UPS)
