Make a Difference with TP Tutors
TP Tutors is looking for experienced and passionate 1:1 Tutors to provide personalised tuition to pupils in their homes or school settings, depending on each learner's individual needs, across Crick and the surrounding areas. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children and young people who require additional educational support, helping them build confidence, overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality, personalised tuition tailored to each learner's needs and abilities.
- Teach Primary and/or Secondary pupils in English, Maths, Science or other curriculum subjects, depending on your experience.
- Work with pupils who may be out of education, have SEND, SEMH needs, medical needs, or require additional academic support.
- Plan engaging lessons aligned with the UK National Curriculum.
- Monitor progress and complete session reports following each lesson.
- Liaise professionally with schools, Local Authorities and families to support positive outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years' teaching experience delivering the UK National Curriculum.
- Experience teaching Primary, Secondary or both.
- Strong knowledge of the UK curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, adaptable and supportive approach to teaching.
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Right to work in the UK.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is desirable due to travel between tuition locations.
