Teaching Personnel is building a pool of exceptional support staff for specialist schools in Horsham that cater for pupils with
Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
, complex medical needs and severe physical disabilities.

- Typical responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with mobility, positioning and physical access
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
- Working alongside therapists, nurses and specialist teachers
- Using sensory-based learning approaches
- Supporting communication through eye-gaze, switches and assistive technology
- Promoting dignity, comfort and independence at all times
