Cover Supervisor

• Supervise and manage classroom activities in the absence of the regular teacher

• Ensure student behaviour is in line with school policies

• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and provide assistance to students as needed

• Keep accurate records of student attendance and report any issues to the appropriate staff

• Support the learning environment and contribute to a positive educational experience

• GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively, Previous experience working in an educational setting is desirable but not essential, * Strong classroom management skills

• Basic understanding of educational principles

• Ability to work independently and follow instructions

This role involves working within a school environment, following school hours and term dates. The individual may need to adapt to different classroom settings and student groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
