A welcoming and supportive primary school in the Walton-le-Dale (PR5) area is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to delivering engaging lessons and helping pupils thrive during a key stage of their educational journey.
We are looking for a teacher who can create a positive and inclusive learning environment, inspire young learners, and support pupils in reaching their full potential.
- Full‑time Year 1 teaching position
- Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum
- Assessing pupils' progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs
- Creating a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment
- Working closely with colleagues, support staff and parents to support pupil development
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, achievement and wellbeing
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience teaching within Key Stage 1 is essential
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Passionate about supporting children's academic and personal development
- Able to quickly build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
