Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with secondary schools across Cannock who are looking for PE Teachers and General Cover Teachers to support their students from September 2026.
These schools are looking for enthusiastic teachers who can deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships with students, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.
The schools have a strong focus on encouraging students to get involved beyond the classroom, with opportunities for staff to support extracurricular activities, enrichment opportunities, and wider school life.

The Role
- Deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Provide general classroom cover across a range of subjects where required.
- Support students with their learning and development.
- Encourage participation, teamwork, and confidence.
- Maintain a positive classroom environment.
- Follow lesson plans and school expectations.
We're Looking For Someone Who
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has experience teaching PE within a secondary setting.
- Can confidently manage a classroom environment.
- Is passionate about sport and education.
- Has strong communication skills.
- Is adaptable and able to support different classes.

To Be Eligible For This Role Through Teaching Personnel, You Must
- Hold the right to work in the UK.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years.
