Salary: Β£120 - Β£150 per day
Contract Type: Full-Time
Start Date: Monday 2nd November OR Monday 4th January 2027
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
- Foster a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
- Support pupils' transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.
- Monitor, assess, and track pupil progress, providing timely feedback and intervention where necessary.
- Establish high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, preferably Year 1.
- A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and Year 1 Phonics Screening requirements.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
