The Role
Teaching Personnel is seeking a resilient, compassionate SEN Classroom Support Assistant to join a welcoming and well-supported Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. You will support pupils aged 3-19 with Autism and a range of additional learning needs, helping them to thrive both academically and personally.

The school is thoughtfully organised into Primary, Secondary, Post-16, and a dedicated Autism and Complex Needs Centre.

Key Responsibilities
- Support children and young people with SEN/ALN and challenging behaviours
- Deliver tailored 1:1 and small-group support
- Help pupils access the curriculum through personalised interventions
- Use effective behaviour management and de-escalation strategies
- Promote engagement, confidence, and emotional development
- Assist with mobility, sensory, and physical support needs

Educator Requirements
- Experience working with children or individuals with SEN, or transferable experience from care, youth support, or similar roles
- Must be 18+
- EWC registration (or willingness to obtain - we can help!)
- Enhanced Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
- Level 2 Safeguarding training
- At least two professional references covering 24 months
