We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support students across the Brackley area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by providing tailored academic support outside the classroom.
The Role
As a 1:1 Tutor, you will work directly with students to deliver personalised lessons that meet their individual learning needs. You will help students build confidence, improve subject understanding, and achieve their academic goals. Tutoring may take place in person at learners’ homes, schools, or local libraries in Brackley, depending on the learner’s needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
- Support students with Maths, English, or Science (GCSE level)
- Identify areas for improvement and create personalised lesson plans
- Encourage confidence, motivation, and effective study habits
- Provide feedback on student progress when required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience in the UK
- Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, or Science
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
