Are you a compassionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs?
We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Blackburn, working full time within a specialist SEN classroom. This rewarding role involves supporting children with high additional needs, helping them access learning, develop key life skills, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.
- Supporting pupils with a range of complex SEN needs.
- Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team.
- Providing 1:1 and small group support.
- Assisting with communication, emotional regulation, and personal development.
- Implementing individual learning and behaviour support plans.
- Creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Previous experience supporting children with SEN and additional needs.
- A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience working within an SEN setting is highly desirable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
