The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and personalised teaching across the secondary curriculum, supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve meaningful progress. What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high‑quality teaching across a range of secondary curriculum subjects
- Adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and EHCP requirements
- Supporting pupils’ personal development, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress
- Working collaboratively with the Headteacher and wider team to support curriculum development
- Teaching beyond your subject specialism where required
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Upholding safeguarding standards and ensuring compliance with school policies
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including additional responsibilities and school improvement initiatives
