Supply Bank Education is working closely with a specialist school in Birmingham, seeking a passionate and committed SEN Teacher to join a growing educational setting supporting pupils with SEMH, autism, and associated needs. The Role
As an SEN Teacher, you will deliver engaging and personalised teaching across the secondary curriculum, supporting pupils with additional needs to achieve meaningful progress. Working closely with the Headteacher and wider school team, you will contribute to curriculum development and help create a positive learning environment focused on wellbeing, independence, and achievement.
Job Details
- Location: Hay Green Lane, Birmingham
- Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Contract: Permanent | Term Time Only
- Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience, not pro rata)
- Start Date: April 2026

What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality teaching across a range of secondary curriculum subjects
- Adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs and EHCP requirements
- Supporting pupils’ personal development, emotional wellbeing, and academic progress
- Working collaboratively with the Headteacher and wider team to support curriculum development
- Teaching beyond your subject specialism where required
- Promoting a safe, inclusive, and structured learning environment
- Upholding safeguarding standards and ensuring compliance with school policies
- Contributing to the wider life of the school, including additional responsibilities and school improvement initiatives
