FULL-TIME SEN Support Staff to work within welcoming and supportive schools across Birmingham.

About the Role
As a
FULL-TIME SEN Support Staff member , you will work closely with students on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development.
You will collaborate with teaching staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that enables every student to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEN, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Support students both inside and outside of the classroom.
- Assist with implementing individual learning and behaviour support plans.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and positive engagement in learning.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate.
- Support students with personal care needs where required.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children, young people, or vulnerable individuals.
- Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential.
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build rapport and support positive outcomes.
- A genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential.
Essential Requirements
- FULL-TIME availability (Monday to Friday)
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to travel to schools across Birmingham
