Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school in B17 who are looking for a confident and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to cover a maternity absence.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced teacher looking for a full-time role where they can settle into a class and become part of the school team. The school is looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build positive relationships with pupils and maintain a calm and well-managed classroom.
The Role
- Full-time KS2 teaching as maternity cover
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Managing behaviour effectively and consistently
- Supporting pupils across a range of abilities
- Working closely with teaching assistants and other staff
- Maintaining high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Taking responsibility for the progress and wellbeing of the class
We're Looking For
- QTS is required
- Recent experience teaching within KS2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- A confident and approachable teaching style
- Someone reliable who can commit to the maternity cover
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils to achieve their potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
