Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of multiple mainstream Secondary Schools within the South Birmingham area who are looking to employ HLTA's on a full time basis.

  • As a HLTA your roles and responsibilities within the school will be, but not limited to:
  • Supporting class teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
  • Delivering planned lessons or activities in absence of the subject teacher.
  • Delivering lessons to small groups or on a 1:1 basis away from the main classroom enviroment.
  • Supporting students who have additional learning needs or require additional support.
  • Helping pupils develop literacy, numeracy and other academic skills.
  • Managing classroom behaviour behaviour and promotion positive behaviour.
  • Working alongside professionals in and outside the school enviroment.
  • Communicating with parents, carers and colleagues where required.
  • Supporting school policies relating to safeguarding, health and saftey, equality and behaviour.
