The Role
- As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll play an important role in supporting children's learning and development while ensuring they feel happy, secure, and valued each day.
- Working alongside a friendly and experienced team, you'll help create engaging experiences that encourage children to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering fun, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
- Observing and recording children's development, achievements, and next steps.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Supporting children's personal care, mealtimes, and daily routines.
- Creating a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for learning and play.
- Promoting children's emotional wellbeing and providing encouragement and reassurance when needed.
- Working as part of a team to provide outstanding care and education.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent).
- Previous nursery or childcare experience is desirable.
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
Working Hours
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, working 8:00am to 4:00pm. We believe in creating a supportive workplace where staff feel valued and can maintain a healthy work-life balance.
