We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Secondary Tutor to support students in the NE42 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide tailored tuition to secondary-aged learners, helping them improve their English skills, build confidence, and achieve academic progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging English tuition sessions to secondary students
- Support learners with literacy, comprehension, spelling, grammar, and essay writing
- Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities
- Prepare students for coursework and examinations where required
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Secondary English curriculum
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- Teaching, tutoring, or classroom support experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
