Teaching Personnel is recruiting an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Teacher of Mathematics to support secondary schools across Basingstoke.

The Role
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach GCSE Mathematics at Foundation and Higher Tier
- Develop students' fluency, reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Use assessment to monitor progress and address misconceptions
- Adapt lessons for different abilities and additional needs
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Prepare students for assessments and GCSE examinations
- Work collaboratively with departmental colleagues
- Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as puzzles and UKMT competitions
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Have strong secondary Mathematics subject knowledge
- Understand the KS3 and GCSE Mathematics curriculum
- Demonstrate effective classroom management
- Explain complex concepts clearly and accessibly
- Be committed to inclusive teaching and positive outcomes
