Teaching Assistant - Bacup
Β£14.25 per hour | Full-Time | Long-Term Role
The Role
- Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
- Start date: After October half term, with the possibility of an earlier start for the right candidate
- Duration: Long-term, running until the end of the academic year, with the potential to continue into the following academic year
- Pay: From Β£14.25 per hour
- Predominantly supporting pupils in KS2
- General Teaching Assistant responsibilities, supporting pupils both individually and within the classroom
- Working across KS1 and KS2 where required
- Supporting pupils with SEND and behavioural needs
- Working closely with teachers and other support staff to help pupils make progress and engage positively with learning
About You
- Hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant childcare/children's qualification
- Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar school-based role
- Have experience supporting children with SEND and behavioural needs
- Be confident managing and supporting a range of needs and abilities
- Be comfortable working across KS1 and KS2
- Have a patient, nurturing and positive approach
- Be reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting children's learning and development
- Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff

Teaching Personnel will be supporting the school throughout the recruitment process and throughout your placement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
