Baby Room Leader – Nursery – BS3 Bristol
Location: BS3, Bristol
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Are you an experienced Baby Room Practitioner ready to take the next step into a leadership role? We are working with a nursery in the BS3 area of Bristol who are looking for a dedicated Baby Room Leader to oversee their baby room and support the youngest children in their care.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong baby room experience who wants to lead a team, shape the room's practice and provide the highest standard of care for babies in their first years.
The Role:
- Leading the day to day running of the baby room
- Planning and delivering age appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Supporting babies' physical, emotional and developmental needs
- Supervising, mentoring and supporting a team of practitioners within the room
- Building strong relationships with parents and carers, including settling in and key worker duties
- Maintaining accurate records, observations and development trackers
- Ensuring the room meets safeguarding, health and safety standards at all times
We Are Looking For:
- A Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- At least 2 years' experience working in a baby room (ideally)
- Experience in a leadership, senior or key worker role is desirable
- A warm, nurturing and patient approach
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confidence supporting and guiding a team
- Reliability, professionalism and a commitment to safeguarding
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
