Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel Sheffield are looking for an Autism Specialist Teaching Assistant to join the workforce of a specialist school in Sheffield.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1-2-1 support to students with diverse needs (Autism, learning disabilities, physical disabilities and behavioural challenges)
- Support in fostering a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student feels valued and supported
- Collaborate with the staffing team within school to ensure that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential
Requirements
- Experience working with children, young people or adults with special educational needs
- Compassionate and patient character
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability
- Ability to work with challenging behaviours
- Driving licence is preferred but is not required if you have adequate travel arrangements
Additional Information
- £95-110/day – Dependent on experience and performance
- Permanent contracts available
- Full-time and part-time roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
