Teaching Personnel is recruiting a motivated and flexible Cover Supervisor to join a well-respected secondary school in Andover, Hampshire. The Role

In this role, you will supervise classes of students aged 11–16 during teacher absences, ensuring learning continues smoothly and effectively. You will deliver pre-prepared lesson materials, manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies, and maintain a positive and focused learning environment. The position may also involve providing additional support to students with special educational needs (SEN) when required.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience working with secondary-aged pupils, including exposure to SEN. You will be confident and adaptable in a classroom setting, with strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students. Pay

This role offers an immediate start, offering competitive daily pay between £95 and £130. You will be joining a welcoming and supportive school community, with opportunities for professional development and ongoing guidance from Teaching Personnel’s experienced recruitment team. All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. The role is temporary; in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
