Teaching Personnel is recruiting a passionate and adaptable Teacher of Mathematics to work with secondary schools across Alton.

The Role
As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach GCSE Mathematics at Foundation and Higher Tier
- Build students' numerical fluency and conceptual understanding
- Develop reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Assess progress and provide meaningful feedback
- Adapt teaching for different abilities and learning needs
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Prepare students for examinations
- Contribute to departmental planning and enrichment
The Ideal Candidate
You will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Have strong secondary Mathematics subject knowledge
- Be confident teaching KS3 and KS4
- Use clear explanations, modelling and questioning
- Create an inclusive and purposeful classroom
- Build positive relationships with students and colleagues
- Be committed to safeguarding and professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
