Teaching Personnel is recruiting an engaging and adaptable Teacher of English for secondary schools across Alton.

The Role
As an English Teacher, you will:
- Deliver inspiring English lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach a rich range of fiction, non-fiction, poetry and drama
- Develop confident readers, writers and speakers
- Prepare students for GCSE English Language and Literature
- Plan, mark and assess in line with department expectations
- Provide meaningful feedback that supports progress
- Adapt teaching for different starting points and learning needs
- Establish a positive and purposeful classroom
- Contribute to literacy, enrichment and wider school life
What We Are Looking For
You will:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Be confident teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
- Communicate subject knowledge clearly and enthusiastically
- Maintain high expectations for every learner
- Be collaborative, reflective and committed to safeguarding
